Are you a local business owner working to recover and grow after the impact of the pandemic?
The Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce (GABCC) invites you to apply for the Business Resilience Initiative — a powerful week-long, in-person training program designed to help established businesses become stronger, more structured, and better equipped to thrive in a changing economic environment.
Program Details
- Duration: 1 Week
- Class Size: Limited to no more than 30 participants
- Time: Class time will be determined by the number of participants
- Format:Two (2) in person 1-hour classes each night (total of 2 hours per night)
- Tuition: Free – Grants Will Be Awarded to Eligible Participants

About the Program
Over the course of one week, selected participants will attend two in-person training sessions per evening, each one hour long, tailored specifically for local business owners who have endured the challenges brought on by COVID-19 and are ready to rebuild with clarity and confidence.

Eligibility Requirements
This program is designed for business owners who meet the following criteria:
- Business must be licensed and operating in Georgia counties in the CSRA. Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Hancock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Taliaferro, Warren, Washington, and Wilkes.
- Business in continuous operation since 2018
- Must provide tax documentation for each year in operation
- Business experienced financial loss during the COVID-19 pandemic
Application Deadline
- The Kickoff Date is January 20, 2026
- Application Deadline is February 20, 2026
- Participants will be notified by February 28th
